Ductile Grain Alignment: Casting molten aluminum into molds creates random crystalline structures with microscopic air pockets that fracture under extreme shock. Wiseco hot-forges raw aerospace billet aluminum under thousands of tons of hydraulic pressure, compressing the alloy and aligning the grain structure along the stress axes of the piston for unmatched strength. 2.
